Our client, a leading sports & leisure management contractor are now recruiting a Pool Manager
This position is based in Monaghan.
The primary role is to contribute to the managements position as the leading leisure management contractor in Ireland.

General duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for overseeing and managing the pool department.
Delegation, teamwork , supervision, maintenance , ensuring positive working enviroment
Lifeguarding, teaching swimming lessons, cleaning
Planning of staff rota’s
Structuring of swimming lesson timetables for both schools and the general public
Engagement between local community user/sport groups/clubs.
Organisation of swimming galas
Monthly departmental and bi weekly management meetings
Bi-annual department performance appraisals
Conducting monthly staff training workshops
Quarterly analysis reports, including the 6 KPI’s of the department
Conducting regular inspections on department equipment and general facilities for good working order and presentation.
Ensuring that everything is in order in the pool plant area and that all pool chemical reads are kept within safe and recommended parameters.
Work in with the team , getting involved with general duties, leading by example
Candidates who wish to apply for this position must have the following:
Nationally recognised swimming instructor qualification
Lifeguard qualification RLSS / IWS
Previous experience in a management position
Candidates will benefit from having:
Nationally recognised pool plant qualification
Nationally recognised pool plant qualification
ECDL or equivalent
